The new on-line platform was launched in 2020 to create a ‘meeting place’, to replace the cancelled 2020 Festival. The wonderful Desert Song Festival family of artists from across Australia and from around the world presented a celebration of the Desert Song spirit and vibe, a 10-day Festival preceded by four monthly netcasts.
In 2022, the capacity of the digital platform will be further developed, with music and tourism videos focussed around the Desert Song Festival, its program, its environs, and its connection with the 60,000 years of First Nations occupation of Central Australia. We will also be offering a line of premium products during and after the Festival period.
