The Desert Song Festival is returning in 2024: Shorter, Sharper, Brighter!
DSF 2024 will be as creative, as diverse, as innovative and as enjoyable as it has ever been.
For 6 glorious days, 17-22 September the Central Desert will again reverberate to the sounds of choirs and musicians from across Australia and visiting international musicians.
After 18 years contributing to music, music practice and events in Central Australia, this year’s Desert Song Festival will be the last festival curated by Morris Stuart!
In the light of this development, in the post-COVID environment and following last year’s 10th Anniversary, we have been reviewing what DSF could look like. This year’s six-day festival is one outcome of that review. The review continues as we look beyond 2024. Watch this space for further developments.
So, if you want to experience DSF under Morris’ curation, this is the year to take that ‘essential Australian journey’ to the desert heart of Australia.
